In April 2016, the Chicken Little Portfolio lost 0.97% while the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.61%.

The Chicken Little Portfolio lost 0.97% in April. This loss stemmed primarily from a small drop in Treasury bond prices. So far in 2016, the biggest winner remains gold-- up over 20%; Treasuries, and emerging market stocks also have done well.

May 2016 portfolio positions



As of May 1, 2016 the Chicken Little Portfolio remains ready for a global, deflationary depression. Chicken Little is heavily invested in US Treasuries, and fractionally short US and international stocks. There were no significant changes in the Chicken Little portfolio during April 2016.
