In May 2016, the Chicken Little Portfolio gained 0.25% while the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 0.38%.

The big movers in May were gold losing 6.15% and emerging market stocks losing 3.50%.  Year-to-date in 2016, big winners have been the safe-haven investments of gold and Long-term US Treasury bonds. 

The Chicken Little portfolio gained 0.25% in May. Chicken Little has no position in gold; made a tiny amount being short emerging market stocks, and made a bit owning long-term US treasury bonds.

June 2016 portfolio positions

As of June 1, 2016 the Chicken Little Portfolio remains ready for a global, deflationary depression. Chicken Little is heavily invested in US Treasuries, and fractionally short US and international stocks. There were no significant changes in the Chicken Little portfolio during May 2016.
